Due to a large intake of new business over the last 8 months Melling Performance Springs are delighted to announce the purchase of a brand new coil winding machine from WAFIOS AG.

WAFIOS FUL-76
WAFIOS is one of the world’s leading companies in special machine construction.
They develop, design, and manufacture technically sophisticated machines for the wire and pipe processing industry as well as for cold forging. The high standard of Wafios machines is based on the use of the latest drive and control technology and innovative software.
The new machine will help cement Melling Performance Springs position as the UK’s premier designer and manufacturer of made to order, high quality, precision spring products.
We are adding a new FUL-76 to our growing inventory of high-quality machines. The key features of the FUL-76 are:

- Future-oriented machine concept
- High quality standards ensure zero-defect production
- IQ functions – more efficiency through intelligent process control
We expect to take delivery of this machine in December 2020 with first production scheduled for January 2021. This is one of many improvements we have made to our facility since Melling acquired the business in March 2020.
