In October 2020 Melling Performance Springs started working on a project which will see a European based company send a critical satellite into space.

Combining our spring knowledge with the aerospace engineers we produced a feasible concept which would provide optimum performance for the end application and ensure manufacturing was also feasible. Our design software, experience and testing facility made the whole project seamless from concept to creation.
This is the first order under the ownership of Melling that will be leaving planet earth and we look forward to watching the launch.
We can now confirm that our products are out of this world.
